Office Car #100
Office Car #100 was built by Pullman in 1888. It was named the "Ortega". In 1903, the car was rebuilt as the private car "Sunbeam". The North Western Railroad of SC (ACL) purchased it in 1916, then later sold it to the C&WC.
The following photo shows the office car as the "Sunbeam" in 1903.

The following photo shows the car as Office Car #100 of the C&WC. It is parked at the Laurens Union Depot.

Office Car #100 has indeed survived! It is located at Parksville, SC, minus the trucks. It is privately owned and the following photos show Office Car #100 in 2006. It is in very poor condition but it is very pleasing to still have this piece of the C&WC still with us.
The interior shots were taken through the glass of the rear platform as the owner was reticent to unlock the car. He was fine with any exterior photos.
